The customary Introduction

 Hello, my Friends: My name is Tim Lones:

     Those that know me know I have been on Facebook a long time.  About 18 years to be exact.  I've done enough writing on FB that people actually think I can write well, So I thought I would start this blog to get more practice. LOL.  To be honest, the reason for this blog stems from my life in the last few years, which by a purely worldly aspect, has not exactly gone well. (More about that in future posts.)  As a Christian, I have tried over and over to get in the Word daily in a meaningful way with devotions and Bible Reading.  As many can attest to, it is hard to get into any good habit, let alone a spiritual one, and stay with it faithfully and consistently.

     On a personal note, after 13 years at Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio.  I believe the Lord is moving me to Massillon Baptist Temple as of June 8, 2025.  This season of my life has been a catalyst to finally trust the Lord for a ministry at MBT, as well as having this blog as a ministry.

     About the name: Sunday to Sunday or My Life and Welcome to It:  
            My life, like everybody else's is a "Sunday to Sunday," proposition.  And the secondary name is a takeoff on the 1969 NBC sitcom title "My World and Welcome to It." with William Windom.




     What my goals in general are for the Blog. 1.  Spiritual growth for myself and those that read it. 2.  Share, as led, personal times from just ordinary days to Special times..Visits or holidays or just blessings from The Lord.  3. Personal opinions on things in pop culture, entertainment, politics (yes politics) and sports 4.  Sharing a Gospel Video at least once a week.

My Life Gospel Verse is:

      "For God Hath not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

II Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

     Just so folks know: I do not feel a necessity to write something every day.

Memorial Day-Let us remember..

      An image posted earlier today by a Facebook friend in an Ohio Widows' Group:Mrs. Jill  Grine Miner.       I was "schooled" a few years ago after putting my Dad's Photo on a Memorial Day post that particular year that Memorial Day is for "those that didn't come home." I think I knew that already but put my dad's picture up in pride and thankfulness for his service.     Let us thank the veterans "that gave all" in all wars in the service of our country and pray for the Ones left behind. Our next post as previously mentioned, will be something of a bio, introducing who I am and where The Lord has brought me up to now..(Not always willingly believe me)
